FAQ
How does it connect to the internet?
The Cuby Helios LP gas tank level measurement system consists of 2 parts: Display and Tank Sensor.
- The tank sensor is 100% wireless and communicates with the display via a very high-range signal (up to 200 meters).
- The display connects to the internet via Wifi and keeps all stored data synchronized in the cloud so you can access it from anywhere in the world in real time.
Is it difficult to install?
It only takes a few minutes, and anyone can do it.
- Connect the Display inside the house, it can be in the kitchen, and use the App to set up the Display.
- Remove the original gauge from your stationary gas tank, being careful to only remove the 2 screws that hold it in place.
- Attach and screw in the Tank Sensor using the 2 included screws.
What guarantees does it have?
- 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects
- Satisfaction warranty. Easy and Free Returns for 30 Days
Can it be used without internet?
Yes. If you don't have Internet access or don't need the App's functions, simply connect the Display to a power outlet and it will show the tank readings on its screen.
What temperature can it withstand?
The sensor is designed to operate up to 70°C, but it is suggested not to use it above 50°C, as high temperatures decrease battery life.
When the stationary gas tank has its cover on, the temperature remains low even when the sun is shining directly on it.
How long does the battery last?
The stationary tank sensor uses a CR123A battery that lasts an average of 3 to 5 years and is easily replaceable.
How accurate is it?
It is one of the most accurate sensors on the market thanks to its design.
The sensor has an error of ± 1%, although in most cases its readings usually have errors of only 0.5% or less.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, the sensor is completely waterproof, with IP67 protection.
In addition to the protection, it has an internal humidity sensor that will alert you in case of water ingress. This could only happen if someone opened it and did not close it properly.
How often does it report?
It reports every 2 hours or whenever the gas reading changes by a certain percentage (0.3% in current versions). When it detects that gas is being supplied, it reports every 10 seconds. This allows for real-time readings.
