    Warranty against defects: It has a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects (it is a Mexican product, so the warranty is very efficient if required). 

    Compatibility Warranty: We offer a compatibility warranty with any type of A/C. If it is not compatible, we can add remote compatibility or refund your purchase (as long as it was purchased directly from us).

    Satisfaction Guarantee: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return. You can return the product and we will refund the total of your purchase.

    Set up with the free App

    Download the "Cuby Smart" App, create an account, and configure the Sensor. 

    If you have a Cuby G4 or Cuby Aria you can link it with the Sentry to expand functionality and view presence data via the internet.

    Place the Sentry

    The Sentry is 100% wireless and includes double-sided tape for a quick installation. 

    Just stick it to the ceiling and you're done. If you wish, it can also be screwed in (screws and wall plugs included).

    Remotely monitors

    If you have Cuby G4 or Cuby Aria, use the "Cuy Smart" mobile App or PC (www.cubylabs.com) to monitor the presence and movement history.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is it compatible with my A/C?

    Si, Sentry is compatible with all brands and models of mini-splits. We offer compatibility guarantee. 

    If you have a Cuby Aria smart thermostat (for Fan and Coil, Package, chiller, etc.) Sentry is also compatible. This allows for presence-based on/off in any type of Air Conditioning. 

    Some Fan and Coil type Air Conditioning equipment (UMATCH and VRF) have an infrared receiver in their thermostat, so the Sentry is also compatible with those units.

    How does it work at night?

    During the night, the Sentry sensor activates a night mode that extends the absence time needed to turn off the air. 

    For example, during the day the absence time is 30 minutes and during the night it changes to 2 hours.

    In addition, it can detect small movements, such as those we make while sleeping, to prevent the air from turning off if the room is still occupied.

    Yes, it can be used with ceiling fans?

    There is no problem with ceiling fans as long as the sentry is installed at least 1.5 meters away from the center of the fan.

    Can 2 or more Cuby devices use the same sensor?
    Yes. It is possible for 2 or more Cubys to share 1 or more Sentry (or BEE) presence sensors, as the maximum number of presence sensors (or BEEs) that can be monitored with a Cuby G4 or Cuby Aria is 20.
    How do you install it?
    1. Configure the operating mode (detection times, night mode, A/C protocol) with the "Cuby Smart" App. 

    2. Stick it on the ceiling inside the same room where the air conditioner to be controlled is located


    Does it require a Cuby G4 or Cuby Aria to function?
    DOES NOT REQUIRE A CUBY G4 OR CUBY ARIA for the automatic shutdown function when no one is present. 

    REQUIRES A CUBY G4 OR CUBY ARIA for the energy saving/setback mode function (increase temperature instead of turning off), the state recovery function (automatic startup) when the person returns and the remote monitoring and configuration function.

    How long does the battery last?
    The duration varies from 2 to 4 years. Uses 2 AAA batteries (included and replaceable). 

    It is suggested to use lithium AAA batteries (Energizer L92).

    Does it have any connections? How does it control the A/C?

    The sensor is 100% wireless. It includes an infrared transmitter which controls the Air Conditioner wirelessly (as if the remote control sent a shutdown command). 

    When integrated with a Cuby G4 or Cuby Aria, the Cuby is the one that sends the on/off signal.
