In the App you will be able to name the Cuby and configure it to the type of Air Conditioner to be controlled.
Place the Cuby
Put Cuby in line of sight with the Mini-split.
Cuby will control it by sending infrared signals like those from the original remote control, and in turn, Cuby connects to the internet with the WiFi network and uses Bluetooth to connect with the optional wireless sensors.

Control with the App and Automate
Use the Mobile App or PC (www.cuby.io) to control and monitor your Air Conditioner.
You can create rules, schedules and automations to improve your comfort.

Analyze the use of the Air Conditioner, as well as the temperature and relative humidity of the environment to optimize its use.

Is it compatible with a mini-split system?
Yes, Cuby works with any mini-split, regardless of brand/model.
What's the difference between the Cuby G4 and G4 PRO?
Both models offer the same air conditioning automation, monitoring, and remote control functions. The main difference is that the Cuby G4 Pro includes a noise sensor, which allows you to monitor sound levels in real time from the platform.
For this reason, the G4 Pro has a higher cost than the standard G4.

How far away does it have to be from the mini-split?
Cuby controls the minisplit through high-power infrared transmitters.
In most cases it does not matter where it is placed as long as it is in line of sight with the Air Conditioning to be controlled (within the same room).
It can be mounted on a wall or placed on a piece of furniture.
How do I set it up with Alexa or Google Home?
For Alexa, you only need to search for and install the skill called "Cuby Smart".
To set up with Google Home, you need to add a new smart device and search for "Cuby Smart" in the list.
How do you install it?
1. Place it somewhere in the room where the mini-split is.
2. Download the free "Cuby Smart" App and set it up. Cuby connects to the internet via Wi-Fi and controls the air conditioner using infrared (like the original remote control).
It takes less than 5 minutes and anyone can do it.
Can I control it when I'm away from home?
Regardless of where you are in the world, you can monitor and control your Air Conditioner in real time via the internet, as long as your Cuby has a WiFi network with internet available.
Is there a monthly cost?
There are no monthly costs for memberships or licenses.
How do I set up absence-triggered and/or door and window opening shutdown?
A presence sensor (Sentry) or a door sensor (Bee) is required.
Once installed, only the Cuby is assigned from the mobile app and the shutdown times are configured.
The connection with the sensors is 100% wireless.
